Kate is a highly experienced lawyer and is part of Quinn & Scattini Lawyers’ Family & De Facto Law Team.
Kate has almost 20 years’ experience working in family law, including managing her own practice as principal solicitor and barrister. Kate has extensive experience managing a comprehensive portfolio of matters such as family law, child protection law, family violence and debt recovery for her clients.
Kate is committed to delivering results across all family law matters including divorce, property settlements, children’s matters and de facto property matters.
Kate understands her clients are going through what is often a stressful, emotional experience and makes sure her clients are kept up-to-date every step of the way.
Kate has developed detailed understanding of the realities and challenges associated with family law, having served as a committee member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Bar Association. Kate has also held a council member position with the Law Council of Tasmania.
Kate’s experience enables her to expertly navigate any complexities with her clients and leverage her extensive experience in negotiation, mediation and court representation to ensure the best outcome is achieved.
