Kelsea is a solicitor in Quinn & Scattini Lawyers’ Criminal Law and Traffic Law Teams.
Kelsea was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2017. Prior to joining Q&S in early 2018 Kelsea gained considerable experience across a range of legal practice areas in previous roles before focussing exclusively on criminal law.
Conducting vast amounts of case law research for matters before the Magistrates Court and Supreme Court has enabled Kelsea to develop an overarching view of the current Queensland criminal law system. This valuable experience enables Kelsea to quickly identify potential sentences her clients may be facing and develop strategies to minimise any potential impact.
Kelsea adopts a calm, confident and reassuring manner in the courtroom and has significant experience representing clients across a range of criminal and traffic matters including mentions and bail applications.
Kelsea is also experienced representing both applicants and respondents of protection orders in the Domestic Violence Courts.
Dedicated to making a significant difference to the lives of clients facing the criminal justice system, Kelsea works to make sure their rights and obligations are understood and takes all factors into consideration so the best strategy to overcome obstacles is developed.
Kelsea is also a regular volunteer at the Caxton Legal Centre.
